Jesse James “Jim” Marshall, 80, of Terre Haute, IN passed away November 7, 2015 at 8:16 p.m. in Union Hospital surrounded by his family.
He was born July 14, 1935 in West Terre Haute, IN., to James Clifford Marshall and Juanita Graves Marshall.
Jim was a hard worker and was the owner and operator of Marshall Plumbing serving Terre Haute for 60 years. He served in the in the Marine Corp during the Korean War. As a young man, Jim was a boxer and participated in Golden Gloves at the Boys Club. Jim loved to travel especially to Biloxi Mississippi. He was a former member of the VFW Post 104. Jim cared deeply for his family; the holidays were a very special time to him because everyone was together.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Stephen Marshall; two half brothers, Clifford Marshall and Bill Marshall and his wife Jean; and a niece Stephanie.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years Wanda; sons, James O. Marshall and his wife Lulu, Dexter E. Marshall and his wife Rose, and Steven A. Marshall; daughters, Becky Rozina, Jacque Marshall and her partner Brett, Katie Bennett and her husband Brian, and Debbie and her partner Doug; half brothers Bob Marshall and his wife Marva, and Carl Marshall; a half sister Barbara and her husband Steve; and a sister-in-law Janet Marshall; grandchildren, James O. Marshall Jr., Brandy and Anthony Mazzon, Jody and Bronson Wilson, Jennifer Marshall her partner Allen Auman, Dexter E. Marshall Jr., Brian J. Bennett, Roni Rozina, Nikki Marshall and her partner Paul, Jesse A. D. Marshall and his partner Kate, Bayleigh Hanrahan, Jacob Marshall Bennett, Azzy Hanrahan; great grandchildren, Riliegh Marshall, Dalton Wilson, Owen Auman, Dylan and Dylanee Marshall and their mother Andrea, Ethan Auman, Cali and Jaxon Mazzon; a special niece Tootie Corby and several other nieces and nephews.
