JESSE MCELWAIN, SR. was born June 12, 1943 in Indianapolis, Indiana, the son of the late Reginald “Reggie” Walter and Sarah Leslie McElwain.
“Jack” as he was also known as, had a twin sister Jacquetta who preceded him in death as with other siblings, brothers, Charles Leslie, Reginald, Tony Sr. and Michael McElwain; sisters, Carol, Jeri and Regina.
“Jack” completed his primary education in the Indianapolis Public School System and attended school #42. He then went on to work for Grady Brothers Construction, where he retired after over 35 years of employment.
He was united in Holy Matrimony on July 20, 1974 to Alma Jean Wallace McElwain who preceded him in death. “Jack and Jean” were inseparable!
