Jesse Elizabeth “Ibby” Dales, age 90, of Salem, died at 1:45 a.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at the Essex of Salem III. She was born November 22, 1925 in Salem, Ohio, the daughter of the late Earl and Frances (Green) Dales.
She was a 1943 graduate of Salem High School and was a Business Manager at the former Broomall Pontiac for 40 years. Ibby was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Salem, where she was very active, the Professional Business Woman Association, and belonged to several card clubs. She sang soprano for the Vocaleers, a singing group that sang on the radio.
Survivors include a niece, Becky (Myron) Dennis of Logan; and two great nephews, Sam (Lauren) Dennis and Joe Dennis.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Englert.
