Jess M. “Bud” Inman Jr., 71, of Bloomington, passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018, at IU Health Bloomington Hospital. Jess was born December 18, 1946, in Bloomington and was the son of the late Jess Sr. and Wilma (Holmes) Inman.
He was a 1966 graduate of Bloomington High School where he played football and wrestled. Jess served with the Bloomington Police Department retiring after 25 years of service. He also worked in construction, and woodworking and was a farmer.
Survivors include 2 daughters; Anna Lee (Kevin) Eads of Bloomington, and Amy Marie Inman of Powhatan, VA, one son, Jess “Buddy” Inman III of Louisville, KY, sister Myrna (Wayne) Lutes of Bloomington, and 3 grandchildren; Derek Eads, Dustin (Erin) Eads, and Darren Eads. He is also survived by a niece, Jodee Rae Inman, and 2 nephews, Allen Lutes and Jim Inman Jr.
Jess was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James “Jim” Inman.
