Jerry Wayne Hicks, 67, of Mulberry, passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021 at his residence.
He was born January 11, 1954, in Lafayette and graduated from Lafayette Jefferson High School in 1972.
Jerry had lived in Colorado, California, Las Vegas and Indiana.
On March 16, 1982, he married Roberta Zeider in Boulder County, Colorado. She preceded him in death.
Jerry worked at Caterpillar for several years before retiring in 2016.
Surviving is his mother, Dorothy L. Carpenter of Sun Valley, NV, stepmother, Margaret I. Hicks of Lafayette, three stepsons, Mark McKown, Donnie McKown, and Ian McKown all of Colorado, sister, Peggy Lane of Sun Valley, NV, two half-sister’s, Lesley (Gene) Burcham of Plainfield and Sandra (Scott) Bratton of Lafayette and, two aunts, Mary (Stu) Grill of Attica and Terri Duncan of Lafayette.
Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Ralph D. Hicks and a brother, Michael A. Hicks.
