Jerry J. Ondresky, 73, of Three Oaks, Michigan died Friday, July 27, 2007 at his home.
Jerry was born September 16, 1933 in Chicago. He graduated from Buchanan High School in 1953 and served his country in the U. S. Army during the Korean conflict. He lived most of his life in Galien.
Jerry was a machinist and time keeper at Clark Equipment Company, Buchanan and retired from Gast Manufacturing, Bridgman. He was a member of St. Mary of the Lake Church, New Buffalo and the Buchanan Moose Lodge. Jerry enjoyed learning new things, collecting antiques and solving crossword puzzles. He was a fan of the Chicago Bears and the Chicago Cubs.
Survivors include his wife, LaVerne; daughters, Mary (Bob) Grosse of Three Oaks and Gail (Bill) Goodwin of Galien, Michigan; sons, John (Mary) Ondresky of Galien and Wayne Ondresky of Niles, Michigan; grandchildren, Deseree, Shane, Jennifer, Christopher, Amanda, Jacob, Erica, Jacob John, and Cameron; step-children, Betty Jo (Robert) Nanney, of Tennessee; Joseph (Faith) Grady and Donald Higgins of Chicago; Joannie and Jeannie Woodley both of Lakeside, Michigan; six step-grandchildren; and sisters, Julie and Helen. Jerry was preceded in death by his brother John, sister, Patsy, and grand daughter, Heather.
