Jerry Lee Potts, son of George Walter and Thelma Marie Potts, was born in Oberlin Ohio, on March 20, 1944. He passed away on September 27st 2021 at age 77 in Kissimmee, Florida. His battle with Alzheimer’s and Dementia in recent years showed his courage in facing life challenges. Despite the pain, Jerry came out a hero and stayed strong until the end.

Jerry served in the US Marine Corps from 1962 to 1966, serving most of his military career in Vietnam as a Landmine Warfare Specialist, Combat Engineer, and Military Demolition Expert. After serving his country, he became a Truck Driver and finished his working career as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic.

Jerry was predeceased by (wife) Paula D Potts, (son) Jay C Potts, (brothers) Jim, George, and Larry Potts. He is survived by his (children) Derrick G Potts (Carrie Potts), Charla D Lang, (Brian Lang) (grandchildren) Katrina Potts, Alicia Lang, Karissa Potts, and Haylee Lang, (brother) Danny Potts.

Jerry adored his late wife, Paula Dee Potts who passed away on July 5, 2018. He longed for her since the day she passed, wanting nothing more than to be by her side again.
