Jerry J. “Jake” Hudson, 76, of Fortville, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at the Indiana Heart Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born September 18, 1936 in Fortville to the late Jack W. and Carrie (Huston) Hudson. Jake worked in the Engineering Dept. at Delco-Remy in Anderson for over 30 years, retiring in 1987. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by wife Peggy J. (Willits) (Kendrick) Hudson whom he married on January 22, 2002; daughter Renee (Don) Edwards of Fortville; step-children Rick (Rosie) Kendrick and Randy (Lori) Kendrick, all of Fortville; grandchildren Trey and Hunter Edwards; step-grandchildren: Robby, Reggie, Cody and Casey Kendrick; brother Ernie (Judy) Hudson of Ft. Collins, CO; sisters Jane Antibus of Bloomfield and Jabet Arnett of Fortville. Jake was preceded in death by his first wife Beverly (Lakin) Hudson in 1994.
