Jerry J. Boggess, 77, of Oaklandon, passed away March 19, 2012 at his home. He was born December 25, 1934 in Bone Gap, IL to the late Virgil and Cuma (Burton) Boggess. Jerry retired from Naval Avionics after 36 years service and is a U.S. Army Veteran.
He is survived by wife Shirley (Avery) Boggess whom he married December 15, 1956; children: Jerry J. Boggess of Fortville, Laura (Walter) Moore of Lebanon, IN and James (Julie) Boggess of Mt. Prospect, IL ; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; sister Norma Lanum of Noblesville.
