Jerry Hopkins Lang Sr, 73, also known as “Hoppy”, went home to be with Jesus on June 1, 2024, reuniting with Louis H. Lang, his Daddy, and Lillie Frances Easte Lang, his Momma; “Brothers” Ronald Lang, Michael Lang, and Tom Shipp; and so many others he missed dearly.  His story will live on through his children, Bridget Lang Lipscomb (Wyatt) and Jerry Hopkins Lang Jr ”JJ” (Denise); grandchildren Gracie Lipscomb, Piper Lipscomb, and Jerry Hopkins Lang III “Tripp”; Siblings Billy Lang, Frances Ann Scott, Mary Weaver (Larry), and Brian Lang (Beverly); Aunt Barbara Lang “Mama Lang”, Aunt Nancy Kehoe, and Aunt Inez Tucker; Cousins who were like siblings Sharon Shipp, Kenneth Lang, Shelby Harrison, and Darlene Lowder; Numerous much-loved cousins, nieces, and nephews; countless friends because he NEVER met a stranger; and of course, his beloved 55 Chevy Hardtop. He loved fast cars and fast living, and a drag strip was his second home.  With unlimited jokes and heart, he lived life his own way.  Sales was in his blood, beginning with Lang’s Sinclair BP Service Station, continuing with BZ Clarke Realty, Edgehill Auto Sales, Lang’s Tires – some called him the Mayor of Bradley Bridge Market- and he never stopped hustling.  Leaving a lasting impression on all he encountered, he will be incredibly missed, but never forgotten.   Until we meet again, we love you, Bye…Sell and Trade.
