Jerry Gene Harmon, 77, of Anderson, passed away on February 1, 2020 at Community Hospital, Anderson.
He was born on September 20, 1942 in Pocahontas, Arkansas and resided most of his life in Anderson. Jerry graduated from Indiana School for the Deaf, and last worked for Spring Air Mattress Company. He was a member of Indiana Deaf Club, and he loved to attend functions there, fishing, working on puzzles, but most of all he enjoyed having fun and making people laugh.
Jerry is survived by his son, Terry (Chasta) Harmon; mother, Jessie Harmon; granddaughter, Shelby Harmon; sister, Linda Carpenter; niece, Bonnie (Mark) Webber; and his nephew, Troy Harmon.
He was preceded in death by his father, L.P. Harmon; and his brother, Harold Harmon.
