Jerry Drew Butterfield
“I Got My Ducks in a Row”
Our loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend, Jerry Drew Butterfield, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2016. He was born on March 13, 1933 in Ogden, Utah to Henry and Gaitha Woolsey Butterfield. Jerry married Claudia Spencer, they divorced. He later married his sweetheart, Patricia Roark.
He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War aboard the U.S.S. Samuel N. Moore.
Jerry graduated from Weber High School and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He retired from UDOT. He enjoyed camping and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; daughters, Leslie (Paul) George and Jodi Haas; 10 grandchildren, Rebecca (Anthony), Daniel (Ellen), Michael (London), Thomas (Nikki), Benjamin (Kelsey), Emma (Doug), Peri, Jaden, Quade and Whitney; 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, Michael (Robin) Butterfield; and a sister-in-law, Pat Butterfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Darrell Butterfield; son, Troy Butterfield and a granddaughter, Cassidie Butterfield.
