Jerry D. Waymire, 78, of Ft. Lupton, passed away December 20, 2012 at his home. He was born November 11, 1934 in Howard, KS to Arlie and Emily (Hutchison) Waymire. He attended schools in Wichita, KS and later married Evelyn Mitchell on September 1, 1956 in Wichita.
Jerry worked as a Supervisor for Panhandle Eastern Pipeline for 27 years after serving in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He has lived in the Ft. Lupton-Brighton area for the majority of his life.
In his spare time, Jerry loved fishing and hunting. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and he will be missed.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Evelyn, of Ft. Lupton; daughters, Janie Chapin of Ft. Lupton and Tammy Taylor of Greeley; brothers, Bill, Ronnie and Steve Waymire all of Wichita, KS; sisters, Linda Hamby of Wichita, KS and Ladonna McFadden of Ft. Collins; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
