He was a residential contractor most of his life and was born and raised in Pensacola, FL. Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Forrest Edgar and his son, Jeffrey Edgar. He is survived by his wife, Perrie Renfroe, his daughter Sabil Edgar, his son Jerry Edgar, Jr., his mother, Cathryn Matthews, his sister, Cheryl Howell, his three brothers, Pete (Cindy), Dwain and Ronnie (Sandy) Edgar and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
