Shankles, Jerry, 64, of Chattanooga, died Monday, January 26, 2004 at the home of His daughter. Mr. Shankles was born in Alabama but had lived in Chattanooga Most of his life. He was a retired carpenter and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was The husband of the late Elizabeth Shankles. Survivors are three daughters and sons-in-law, Marie Shiver, Chula, Ga., Doris & Daryl Smith, Lenox, Ga., Beverly & Mike Berge’, Chattanooga, sister,Bonnie Bailey, Ft Payne, Alabama, three grandchildren, one great grandchild.
