Jerrel D. Brown, age 86, of Quitman went to be with the Lord December 31, 2016 at his residence. Born November 13, 1930 in Pangburn he was the son of the late Dempsey and Nellie Stewart Brown. Jerrel worked for a Hatchery/Feed Mill in Searcy until his retirement. He was a member of the Heber Springs Church of Christ.
He enjoyed riding motorcycles while health permitted, hunting and fishing and spending time with his family.
Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Ray and Cletus Brown and a sister, Mae Hopper.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife Dorothy Simmons Brown whom he married November 8, 1952; one daughter, Judy Holliman (Altis) of Quitman; one son, Richard Brown (Vickie) of Quitman; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and many friends.
