Jerome “Gary†Garner Underwood, 56, of 136 Homestead Trail, Collinsville, VA died Wednesday, March 23, 2011. He was born on February 15, 1955 in Martinsville, VA to the late Garner D. Underwood and Louella Lawhorne Underwood. Mr. Underwood was a member of Stone Memorial Christian Church and worked as a machinist. Surviving are his wife, Kathy Currier Underwood of the home; one son, Brandon “Toby†Everette Underwood of Martinsville, VA; one brother, Willard L. “Bill†Underwood of Statesville, NC and a special buddy, Teagan Phillips of Martinsville, VA.
