Jerome Carl Fields Sr. “Jerry”, 76, of Terre Haute, passed away July 6, 2015. He was born December 30, 1938 to Lee Fields and Opal (Jackson) Fields. Jerome was a past president of the United States Steel Workers Union. He retired from the Vigo County Parks Department and also worked at General Housewares. Jerry is survived by his children: Jerry Fields Jr., wife Suzanne, Garry Fields, Donald Fields, wife Jody, Glen Fields, wife Crystal, and Zachary Lookebill-Fields; step children Connie Wilson, husband Jim, Rick Barlow, Mechell Botts, and her husband Glenn; 23 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death on December 5, 2008, by his wife Carolyn J. Fields, his parents, and all of his siblings.
