Jeremy David Shane, 27, passed away from this life on September 25, 2014 at his home in Canon City. He was born August 11, 1987 in Pueblo, Colorado to John Franklin and Laura Jane (Jaquez) Shane. He grew up in Canon City and graduated from Canon City High School in 2006. Jeremy enjoyed working with computers, listening to country music, reading fiction stories, collecting Hot Wheels cars and Power Ranger collectible figurines. He was a resilient young man who dealt with many health issues throughout his life and brought joy to his family and friends. His Grandfather Tony Jaquez, his Uncle Jim Jaquez, his Great Grandmother Velma Karr and his Great Uncle Donald Karr preceded him in death. His father John Shane of Motley, Minnesota, his mother Laura Shane of Canon City, his grandmother, Romona Jaquez, his Uncle Tony Gene Jaquez of Canon City, and Uncle Terry and Aunt Dee Jaquez of Pueblo survive him. Numerous cousins, extended family and friends also survive him.
