Mr. Jeremiah “Jerry” T. Quigley, age 79 of Orange, beloved husband of 51 years to Patricia (Kennedy) Quigley, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2008, in the Hospital of St. Raphael, New Haven.
Jerry was born on November 2, 1929, in West Haven, the son of the late Thomas A. and Mary (McDermott) Quigley. Jerry graduated from St. Lawrence Grammar School, Fairfield College Preparatory School and The College of the Holy Cross as a member of the Class of 1951. He served with the United States Army during the Korean War.
He retired as New England Roofing Industry Manager for the Dow Chemical Company.
In addition to his beloved wife Patricia, Jerry is survived by his son Thomas Quigley of Orange (and friend Nancy Loader of Old Saybrook); two daughters Kathryn (and her fiancé Vincent Smith) of New York City, and Sarah of Newton,MA. He was predeceased by two sisters Doris Quigley O’Rourke and Aileen Quigley.
