Jennifer Lynn Thompson Scothern passed away on February 18, 2016 at University of Utah Hospital. Jennifer was born in Brigham City, UT on November 20, 1985 to Douglas Lee Thompson and Donnelle Louise Boren. She graduated with Honors from Box Elder High School in 2004. She continued her education receiving an Associates Degree from Dixie College, Bachelors in Biology at UVU, and finishing her education with a Doctorate of Pharmacy from Roseman University. Jenny was a pharmacist at Walgreen’s in North Ogden and Woodscross. She married her high school sweetheart Alex Scothern on August 5, 2006 in Brigham City; they later divorced but remained close friends.
Jenny was an amazing seamstress and would make her own clothing. She loved drawing and was an excellent artist. She was a huge Audrey Hepburn fan and loved classical movies.
Jenny was very adventurous and loved hiking. Some of her favorite places to visit were Zion’s and Arches. She enjoyed traveling, going to New York, Washington, D.C., and Hawaii.
Jenny is survived by her father Doug (Julie) Thompson; mother Donnelle (Kraig) Robinson; sister Heather (Ron) Beth; step-brothers: Kaden Stephens and Nathan Stephens. Jennifer was aunt to five nieces: Jordan, Breanna, Kobie, Harlee, and Madison who will dearly miss her.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Justin Douglas Thompson, Aunt Tammy Williams, and cousin, Matthew Williams.
