Jennie Darrington McReynolds transitioned to be with the Lord on early Saturday morning at home. Jennie was born on February 23, 1954 to Fred and Lula Bell Robinson Darrington.
She was a member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church in Jackson, where she enjoyed attending, Jennie loved watching her soap operas, cooking and spending time with her family.
Preceding Jennie in death, in addition to her parents, was her son, Brandon D. McReynolds; sister, Judy Darrington; and brothers, Theodore Robinson and Glenn Darrington.
Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband, Larry D. McReynolds of Jackson; three daughters, Jennifer (Daniel) Mitchell, Edith (John Baugh) McReynolds and Jennie Lee Darrington, all of Jackson; two sons, Edward (Shenay) McReynolds and Victor (Nikki) Darrington, both of Jackson; adopted son, Terryllance Jones of Jackson; two sisters, Clemetine Clarke and Annie Ree Darrington, both of Phoenix City; five brothers, Sidney Darrington of Phoenix City, Charles Darrington of Eight Mile, Johnny Darrington of Decatur, Freddie Darrington of Georgianna and Wydell Darrington of Maine; fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one uncle, John (Bertha) Darrington of Jackson; son-in-law, Antonio Ezell; and best friend, Jessie Mae McGraw of Jackson; with three sisters-in-law, ten brothers-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Homegoing service will be Saturday, June 16, with viewing from 10 a.m. til the 11 a.m.
