Jeffrey W. Baurer, age 44, of Geneva passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.
He was born in Peoria, IL, October 21, 1968, son of Ronald L. and Barbara (Carlin) Baurer.
Jeffrey served for many years in a variety of roles at Accenture LLC most recently as a Sales Director at Accenture Technology Growth Platform. He was a 1986 graduate of Richwoods High School in Peoria and a 1991 graduate of Bradley University with a Bachelor of Science degree. Jeffrey was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. He married Margaret Jean Johnson on November 4, 1995, in Peoria, IL. Jeffrey loved to play hockey, travel, play golf, and was an avid Chicago sports fan. He spent much of his time devoted to his daughters where he coached many soccer and softball teams as well as attended many dance and theatre productions.
He is survived by his loving wife Margaret of 17 years; daughters Sarah Jo, Olivia Claire and Brooke Elizabeth; parents Ronald L. Baurer and Barbara (Carlin) Baurer of Peoria; sister Kimberly A. (Ross) Molloy of Darien, CT; paternal grandmother Verna E. Baurer of Peoria; great aunt Cora Leman of Peoria; in-laws E. Richard Johnson and Louise L. Johnson both of Peoria; 10 nieces and nephews; 5 brothers-in-law; and 3 sisters-in-law.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents William and Virginia Carlin and his paternal grandfather Benjamin R. Baurer.
