Jeffrey S. Muranyi, age 53, of Elburn passed away suddenly Saturday, January 19, 2013 at his home.
He was born December 19, 1959 in Joliet, Illinois the son of Joseph and Julia (Trubich) Muranyi.
Jeffrey was raised in Joliet graduating from Joliet Central High School in 1978. He completed his Electrical apprenticeship and became a member of the IBEW Union Local 461.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years Gail (Jablonski); son Lance Corporal Dominic Stephen serving in the United States Marine Corps stationed at Twenty Nine Palms, CA. and daughter Madelynn Rose of Elburn; father Joseph (Carol) Muranyi of Elburn; two brothers James (Lou Ann) Muranyi of Wisconsin and Joseph Muranyi of Joliet; nieces Melissa Cherrette and Kara (Joel) Tikalsky; father and mother-in-law Frank and Theresa Jablonski of Florida; sisters-in-law Timarie (Danny) Dawson of GA., Dominee (David) Rompel of FL, Connie (Al) Montana of Batavia, Kristen (Greg) Bittner of West Chicago; and brother-in-law Frank (Alyssa) Jablonski of CA. Jeffrey is also survived by many more relatives and good friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Julia on December 22, 2012.
