Jeffrey “Jeff” Lee Gore, 57, of Greenfield, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away December 27, 2020 at his residence. Born September 23, 1963 in Indianapolis, he was the son of the late Albert Carl and Bertha Ann (Civils) Gore.
Jeff served in the U.S. Army from 1980 to 1983. He had worked as a chef in area establishments for 35 years, most recently with Great Times.
A man of Christian faith, he loved to cook, enjoyed movies and was knowledgeable of many trivia facts.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Sheri L. (Tansy) Gore of Greenfield, whom he married on June 25, 2001; son, Jacob C. Gore of Indianapolis; daughters, Amanda M. Gore of Indianapolis, Carolyn S. Brown of Shelbyville, Melody A. Gore of Indianapolis and Haleigh R. Gore of Trafalgar; six grandchildren, Conner, Colton, Oryn, Lucas, Ryleigh and Rayden; brothers, Larry (wife Vicki) David of Shelbyville and Luke (wife Debbie) David of Indianapolis; sisters, Melody A. (Phillip) Stringer Graves of Portland, Tennessee and Barbara Bogle of Franklin, Kentucky. In addition to his parents, Jeff was preceded in death by brothers, Loren Fritz David and Anthony “Tony” Gore.
