Jeffrey A. Handwerk, 48, of Moore Township, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at St. Lukes Hospital, Fountain Hill. He and his wife, Sonja (Mendez) Handwerk, shared 24 loving years together. Born in Fountain Hill, he was the son of Ronald L. and Laureen M. (Kaufmann) Handwerk of Bethlehem. Jeff was a 1984 graduate of Freedom High School in Bethlehem. He was a self-employed industrial roofer. Jeff was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Bethlehem Township. He was also a member of the Bath Rod and Gun Club and was an avid outdoorsman. Jeff enjoyed deep sea fishing, snow mobiling, four wheeling and loved to make people laugh. Survivors: His loving wife, Sonja; parents, Ronald and Laureen; sister, Natalie Souto and her husband Edward of Bethlehem Twp.; brothers, Ronald Handwerk, Jr. and his companion Dawn Bittner of Palmer Twp. and Michael Handwerk and his wife Shelly of Bethlehem Twp.; nieces and nephews, Kalie and Jenna Souto and Devin and Logan Handwerk; mother-in-law, Victoria Mendez of Bethlehem; father-in-law, Louis Mendez of Northampton; and his precious pets, Teddy, Tessa and Khloe.
