Jeffery Wayne Born, 48, of Chattanooga passed away Saturday, July 11, 2009 at his residence. Jeff was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and a 1979 honor graduate of Tyner High School where he was named “Mr. Tyner”. He graduated from M.T.S.U. with a double major in Graphics Arts and Communications and was active in the Sigma Chi Fraternity. Upon graduation Jeff worked in Nashville with several advertising agencies before returning to Chattanooga. He worked for the past several years at National Poster Digital. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl Haney and Pauline McDowell Haney, and Sam and Ollie Born. Jeff will be sadly missed by all who knew him. We will never forget his kind and generous heart and that beautiful smile. He is survived by his parents, Billy and Carolyn Born; sister, Kelly Dawn Born; nephew, Brennen Smyth and his life partner Barbara (Sissy) Moore; step-grandmother, Juanita Haney and a large loving family and friends.
