Jeffery Lee Harper, 68, of Linton, passed away on September 1, 2012 at Saint John’s Health System Anderson, IN.

He was born on November 28, 1943 in Kokomo and resided in Linton for the last 15 years. Jeffery graduated from Frankton High School in 1963. He retired as a Tool and Die maker for Guide Lamp Division of General Motors in 1997. He was an avid pool player and fisherman. He enjoyed the outdoors and was always involved in a project. After retiring, he fulfilled a long time dream of moving down south and making his home in the country where he built a pond for his family and friends to enjoy. He was a wonderful father and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Left to cherish in his memory are his daughters, Tammy Harper Strand of Anderson, and Michelle Brad Harper Sandefur of Anderson; grandsons, Lucas Collett and Gavin Sandefur; mother, Lavonne Parker of Elwood; step-mother, Minyoughn Harper of Frankton; 4 sisters, Janice Hicks, Leila Dailey, Loretta Swisher and Donna Knotts; 3 brothers, Jerry Harper, Kevin Parker and Tom Harper; and special friends, Ron Pickett and Gene Chanley; and his puppies, BoBo & Maggie & Baby.

He was preceded in death by the mother to his children, Sharon Wilson Gregurash.
