Jeffery was born April 8, 1953 to the late Cecil Burton and Gracie Allen Burton.
He married Shirley A. Burton who preceded him in death on December 6, 2019. In his spare time Jeffery enjoyed going fishing and spending time with his family. He attended Who So Ever Will Community Church and proudly served with the Army National Guard for 6 years.
Jeffery is survived by his son; Chad Burton of Franklin, Indiana; his daughter, Brittany Burton of Franklin, Indiana; his granddaughter, Gracie Burton; his sisters, Vickie Hagan of Edinburgh, Indiana, Charity Hagan of Edinburgh, Indiana; his brothers, Bob (Helen) Burton of Edinburgh, Indiana and Tom Burton of Franklin, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, two brothers and two sisters.
