Jeff Ray Jones, 86, passed away peacefully at home April 4, 2024 after a courageous fight with cancer. He was born in Isle of Wight County, the son of Willie T. and Mattie Mae Jones. He was predeceased by his daughter Yvonne Carol Jones, parents; and siblings: Analene Jones, Helen Pruitt, Fred Jones, Naomi “Julie” Jones; grandchildren: Christopher Daily Jr., Carol M. Daily.Jeff worked as an automobile mechanic for 55 years before retiring. He enjoyed his garden, fishing, bluegrass, cooking Brunswick stew and his purple martins. His love of family was unconditional. He was a previous member of the Church of God in Suffolk Va.Jeff is survived by his wife Grace Marie Jones; sons Steven Shelley Jones, John Anna Jones; daughters Debbie Davis, Dana Eric Thompson; siblings Mary C. Clark, John D.
