Jeannie M Kyle, 34, of Tunnelton, went to be with the Lord Tuesday January 10, 2012 at Preston Memorial Hospital after a long battle with cancer. She was born December 15, 1977 in Morgantown, daughter of Cora Travis Kyle of Tunnelton.
Jeannie graduated from Preston High School Class of 1995 and she enjoyed playing games, collecting pillow pets and doll babies. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her aunts and uncles; aunt and caregiver Lydia June Travis, Andy and Patricia Taylor, Robert Travis, Allen and Bonnie Travis, Bernard and Joyce Travis, Verna Travis all of Tunnelton, and Darrell and Shirley Travis of Rowlesburg; several cousins and special cousins, Pam, Brandon and Stephanie Lantz of Tunnelton and Eric Taylor of Arthurdale. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Bernard Sr and Iris Travis, and Uncle Brooke Travis. Special thanks to Dr. Timothy Miller and the staff at PMH for their kindness and consideration through Jeannie’s battle; and to Jeannie’s home health nurses.
