Jeannette “JY” Montgomery of Center Point, AL born on October 6, 1926 passed away on July 11, 2011 at the age of 84. She was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. She retired from Alabama Power after 23 years of service. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe E. Montgomery; brother, Henry Lee Yelverton. She is survived by her son, Scott L. Montgomery; brothers, Mac Donnell (Sonja), and Colan Donnell; nephews, Laney and Jerry Yelverton; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
