Prospect, CT-Mrs. Jeannette M. (Marquis) Peck, age 80, of Prospect, passed away peacefully on Saturday June 13, 2015 in the VITAS Unit at St. Mary’s Hospital. Jeannette was the loving wife of Alden F. Peck for 60 years.
Jeannette was born in Winsted on August 30, 1934 a daughter of the late Albert and Adele (Royer) Marquis. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, especially tending to her roses. She also enjoyed painting, traveling, and learning about other cultures.
In addition to her husband, Jeannette is survived by three daughters: Karen Tessier and her husband Gregory of Waterbury, Elaine Archambeault and her husband Wesley of Prospect, and Susan Norcia and her husband Mark of Austin, TX, three sons: Allen Peck and his wife Lidia Agraz of Austin, TX, Derick Peck and his companion Sandy Belinski of Douglassville, PA, and Neil Peck and his wife Linda of Wolcott, five sisters: Noella Spurdle of Canaan, Yolanda Stavnitsky of Winsted, Gertrude Schlapfer of Torrington, Claire Nelson of New Hartford and Yvonne LaMere of Torrington, two brothers: Roland Marquis of Torrington and Robert Marquis of Torrington, 14 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister: Lorette Whitman, a brother: Albert Marquis and a grandchild Sean Peck.
