Jeanette Blankenship Friar went to Heaven to be with the Lord on August 11, 2016. She was born in Drexel, North Carolina on August 19, 1937 to the late Evelyn L. and E. Fritz Blankenship, Sr. She has lived in the North Georgia area since 1955.
She is survived by two daughters: Cindy (Gary) Ashley, Acworth, GA and Lynn (Michael) McAmis, Ringgold: two granddaughters: Karen Ashley, Kennesaw, GA and Emily McAmis, Ringgold; three great grandchildren, Gillian, Jacob and Brigid, Kennesaw. Two sisters: Sue Scott, Fort Oglethorpe and Iva Kennedy, Vero Beach, FL.
She was preceded in death by her brothers E. Fritz Blankenship, Jr and Vernon Blankenship.
