Jeanne W. Zimmerman, 97, of Ottawa died on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Pleasant View.
Jeanne was born on November 17, 1918 in Ottawa, to Henry F. and Ethel (Hunt) Walkling. She married Wayne E. Zimmerman on June 29, 1944 in Ottawa. Jeanne was a music teacher for over many years. She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church, Mary E. Chapter, No. 270 OES, Past Honored Queen of Bethel #52, Ottawa, Amateur Music Club, IL Teachers Association, and the IL Wesleyan Alumni Association.
Jeanne is survived by 2 children, Joel W. (Pamela) Zimmerman, of W. Bloomfield, MI, Beth Tuzak, of Ottawa, 2 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Wayne, a sister Henrietta Lenz, and a son-in-law, George Tuzak.
