JEANNE L. O’ NEIL, 73, resident of Deming passed away Friday October 8, 2010 in the comfort of her home.
Jeanne, one in a set of triplets, was born March 11, 1937 in Greensburg, Pennsylvania to Earl Vincent and Blanche Alma (Wilson ) Parr. She moved with her family to Southern California in 1951and was involved in several business operations. Prior to moving to Deming she owned and operated Jeanne’s Manicuring in Newhall, California. She and her husband Jim came to Deming May 28, 2000 and locally was a member of Calvary Chapel. She loved her dogs and cats and also enjoyed woodworking with her scroll saw.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, James E. O’Neil of Deming; brother, Gerald Earl Parr and his wife Connie of Henderson, Nevada; niece, Rebecca L. West and her husband John Robert McGrael of Deming; and 4 nephews, Danny, Arlen, David and Jerry Parr all of Nevada. She was preceded in death by her parents and her two sisters, JoAnne and Jacquelyn Parr.
