Jeanne Muncy, 81, of Southington, passed away on Saturday, October 7th at her residence.
Mrs. Muncy was born in New York City on April 2, 1925, the daughter of the late George H. and Winifred (Lettington) Longhurst. Jeanne was a retired accountant for Dimes Savings Bank and a literacy volunteer. She was a resident of Amityville, NY for 60 years before moving to CT.
Jeanne is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Dianne and Ron Smith of Bristol; her sons and daughters-in-law, Douglas and Susan Muncy of Amityville, NY and Todd and Darlene Muncy of Plymouth MN; her grandchildren, Kyle Muncy of East Hampton, CT, Ryan Muncy of Islip, NY, Kelly Jeanne Guglietta of Bristol, CT, Graydon Smith of Franklin, MA, Colleen Horan of South Windsor, CT and Erica and Paige Muncy both of Plymouth MN; and five great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Norman Longhurst of Oregon and Jack Longhurst of Kansas.
