Mrs. Jeanette C. Verrastro, age 88, formerly of Stamford, beloved wife of the late Mark J. Verrastro, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2006 in the Connecticut Hospice, Branford.Daughter of the late Joseph L. and Nettie R. Genovese Carlucci, she was born on January 28, 1918 in Port Chester, NY and was a longtime resident of Stamford before moving to Orange 4 years ago. She was a member of St. Cecilia’s Rosary Altar Society and was an avid gardner. Mrs. Verrastro leaves a son, Joe Verrastro and his wife Alice, five grandchildren, Allison and Kelly Verrastro, all of Milford, Craig Verrastro and his wife Gina of Providence, RI, Matthew B. and Alexandra Verrastro, both of Norwalk, and a great granddaughter, Bella Rose Verrastro and also survived by her close friend, Sarah Adjei of Branford. She was predeceased by a son, Nicholas M. Verrastro, two brothers, Nicholas and Anthony Carlucci.
