Jeanette Ann Eltringham, 84, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 11, 2021 with her beloved husband of 61 years, Gerald, by her side.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her loving children, Gerald Lee Eltringham and wife Shara of New Cumberland, David Andrew Eltringham and wife Jennifer of Boiling Springs, and Susan Marie Williams and husband James of Mechanicsburg.
She is also survived by her grandchildren of whom she adored and was very proud: Zachariah and Cailey Eltringham, and Noah, Chloe, Jakob and Andrew Eltringham.
Born on March 7, 1936 to Benjamin and Stella (Szerwinski) Stabinski, she was the youngest of eight children. Jeanette grew up in Coal Township, PA and graduated from Coal Township High School, class of 1954. She and Gerald married in June of 1959 and began their lives together. They raised their children in Monroe Township and moved to Boiling Springs in 1985 where they enjoyed many, many years together.
Jeanette enjoyed traveling, shopping, watching Gerald play softball, reading, baking and she made the most delicious stuffing. She liked nice clothes, shoes and jewelry, all of which she had in abundance.
In her later years she enjoyed relaxing in their sun room, walking around the neighborhood with Gerald, watching her beloved Philadelphia Phillies, Wheel of Fortune, and Jeopardy while snuggling with their West Highland Terrier, Murphy. Most of all, her family meant everything to her. She meant everything to them, too.
Jeanette was thoughtful, understanding, loving, funny, considerate and kind. She was a wonderful wife, mother, mother in law, nana, neighbor and friend and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
