Jean Stevenson Taylor

Jean Stevenson Taylor passed away on November 8, 2016. She was born on March 3, 1928 in Columbia, Utah to Ernest and Effie Jensen Stevenson. She grew up in Columbia and attended schools in Columbia. On November 22, 1945, she married Bernard Edd Taylor in Columbia, and was later sealed in the Manti Temple.
She retired from Defense Depot of Ogden and was a member of the Plain City 4th Ward.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol Kennedy of Henefer, daughter-in-law, Liz Taylor of Ogden, and grandchildren; Jaynie Brandon Bunnell (Allen Abreu) of Concord, CA, Tiffanie Taylor Rohwer (Fred) of Ogden, Tenille Taylor (Whitten) of Salt Lake City, Andi Taylor (Shannon) Catherine of Plain City, and great-grandchildren; Jerryn Bunnell of Lynnwood, WA, Zakary Taylor (Shawnie Dykster), of Harrisville, Adam Barrick (Stacey) of Ogden, and Trista, Chloe, Colin, and Thea Catherine, of Plain City.
She is also survived by her sisters, LaRue Larsen of Price and Eileen Holmes of Anderson, AK, and many special friends and adopted grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Effie Stevenson, her husband, Bernard Edd Taylor, her son, Wayne Taylor, sisters, Viola Visser and Barbara Erickson, and special brothers; John Visser, Don Larsen, and Carl Erickson.
Special gratitude is expressed to Joan Hansen for all the loving care she provided. Additional gratitude is expressed for all family and friends that went to visit her and to the staff at Brookdale that provided such loving care.
