Passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at the age of 81. Jean was born in Kalamazoo on December 28, 1933, the daughter of the late Richard and Marion (Koster) Blue. She retired from Auto Owners Insurance Company. Among her hobbies and interests, she was an avid sports fan and passionate softball pitcher and coach. Most of all, Jean loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was married to Robert James Posthumus in 1952; he preceded her in death in 1979. She is survived by her children, David J. (Audrey) Posthumus, Thomas J. (Margaret) Posthumus, Robert P. Posthumus, Sally Kay (Timothy) Lehrman and Debra Sue Posthumus; eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Beverly Taylor; one brother-in-law, George (Joan) Posthumus.
