Jean O. Stone, 95, of Southbury, Connecticut passed away, Monday, October 8, 2012. She was born in Rockville Centre, New York in 1916 and was a resident of Garden City, Long Island for over sixty years. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard M. Stone, broadcasting executive, who passed away in 1987.
Mrs. Stone, who graduated from St. Joseph’s College in Brooklyn, NY and received a Master’s degree in education from NYU, taught English in the Sewanaka School District, Franklin Square, NY for over twenty two years.
