Jean L. Jordan, 74, of Hanover Township, died Sunday, September 5, 2010, in her home.
Born: in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of Louis Derrico of Bethlehem Township and the late Rose Shambora Derrico.
Personal: Jean worked as an escort for the Bethlehem Steel Corp., for many years and was also a receptionist/clerk for the Bethlehem Area School District for 23 years.
She was a 1953 graduate of Liberty High School. An avid reader, she enjoyed her book club with her friends.
Memberships: Jean was a member of Ss. Simon & Jude Catholic Church.
Survivors: father Louis of Bethlehem Township; two daughters, Lynda Yocum and her husband Skip of Fountain Hill, Joanne Smith and her husband Dennis of Nazareth; a son Angelo Jordan and his wife Jeanmarie of Whitehall; two brothers, Louis Derrico and his wife Ann of Bethlehem, and John “Buddy” Derrico and his wife Lorraine of Fountain Hill; a sister Diane Petko and her husband Stan of Bath; a sister-in-law Susan Derrico of Allentown; grandchildren Derek and his wife Laurie, Angelo, Caitlin, Jordan and Allie.
She was predeceased by her brother Rick Derrico.
