Jean (Fitts) Hatch, 79, of Willington, CT., wife of Gordon C. Hatch, died Thursday March 15, 2007 at Windham Hospital. She was born April 18, 1927 in Willimantic, CT., the daughter of the late John and Ethel (Walker) Fitts. Jean had enjoyed raising Shetland Ponies and miniature horses continuously since 1931. She was a member of the American Shetland Pony Club and was a recipient of their People Hall of Fame Award. Jean was also a 4H Club Leader for many years.
