Jean Doris (Voss) Kenbeek, age 85, went home to be with the Lord on April 8, 2018. She was a lifelong resident of Kalamazoo born to Fred and Grace (VandenBosch) Voss on November 19, 1932.
She married Lawrence L. Kenbeek on February 23, 1952, and raised three children. Larry passed away on April 4, 1998. She was a member of the Second Christian Reformed Church. Upon her retirement from food service with Kalamazoo Public Schools for more than twenty years, she was involved with genealogy and more recently in card marking.
She is survived by her children, Deborah and Paul Tubergen, Dennis and Kathy Kenbeek, Douglas and Maribeth Kenbeek; eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; two brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
