Jean Ann (Shapiro) Osber, beloved wife of Stuart A. Osber for 57 years, died on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at the age 79. She was the daughter of the late Rose (Schwartz) and Harry Shapiro of Middletown. “She was born crying with everyone else smiling and died smiling while everyone else was crying.” Jean Ann graduated from UCONN in 1950.
