JB Johnson, age 74, was called to his eternal resting place on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at the Veteran’s Affairs Hospital in New Orleans. He entered this world on August 17, 1946 in Innis, LA, born to Horace Crowley, Sr. and Olivia J. Townsend. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam war from 1967-1969.
Those left to cherish his memory, are his devoted wife, Irma Johnson; his daughters, Neiketa Johnson and Monique Johnson-Riley (Maunel); son, Joel Washington (Vivian); sister, Christine Laneheart. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Kendrayon Hollins, Kenneth, Jr., and Monet Riley; daughter-in-law, Damita B. Johnson; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Horace Crowley, Sr. & Olivia Johnson Townsend; oldest son, Kenneth, Sr.; siblings, Alex Townsend, Clarence Townsend, Sr., Lurline Townsend, Limotine Townsend, Eva Malone, and Horace Crowley, Jr.
