JayCee Deann Cramer Warby, 83, of Old Man Saloon of Ogden, passed away very peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on December 6, 2021. She was born September 1, 1938 to Jacob and Mina Cramer, she was the oldest of 3 kids.
She attended Ogden High where she sang in a Quartet and was a concert pianist, she graduated in 1956. She married Gary Wright in 1956 in Elko, NV they had sons Rick D. Wright and Kelly D. Wright. She later married Jack L. Warby in 1966 they had daughter Marla M. Warby. She then married Jr. Redfern in 1982 and was widowed in 1986.
JayCee worked and retired from the IRS and purchased the Old Mans Saloon in 1980. She had pool teams, a ball team and she lobbied on Capitol Hill, all the while juggling 2 jobs and raising 3 children on her own. She was a very strong woman. The doors at Old Mans Saloon closed for good in 2015, she adored her patrons. In her later years she loved to drink beer and people watch at Dars and Rock Bottom.
She was loved by all that knew her, she loved the night life and was a social butterfly. JayCee did it all her way!
JayCee is survived by her children Rick (Wanda) Wright, Kelly (Julie) Wright, Marla (Monte Dillard) Warby, 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, brother John Cramer, and sister Sharon (Ron) Wright. She is preceded in death by her mother and father; Jake & Mina Cramer, 1 grandchild Jessica Wright, all her husbands, and all of her lifetime friends.
She will be greatly missed by her family and a community full of people that loved her.
