Jay Clark Lawson, 77, of Idaho Falls, passed away February 13, 2019, at his home. He was under the care of Alliance Hospice.
Jay was born December 30, 1941, in Pocatello, Idaho, to Harry Litz Lawson and Eunice Revella Caldwell Hansen. He grew up and attended schools in Moore, Howe, and Arco and graduated from Butte County High School.
On July 9, 1962, he married Irene M. Lawson in Arco, Idaho. To this union were born three children, Jamie, Sophia, and Sonya. Jay worked as a construction worker building dams and nuclear power plants. He was a proud union member and received his 50 Year pin of membership from The Idaho Laborers Union Local #155. Jay and Irene made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
