Jay D. Knowlden, 63, of Ogden Utah passed away the morning of April 30, 2019, surrounded by family. He was our beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Son, Brother, and Uncle.
Born March 16, 1956 in Sasabo, Japan where his father was stationed. He grew up traveling about the country until his father was retired from the United States Air Force, they then moved to Riverdale Utah. He attended schools in Weber County. He joined the United States Marine Corps in 1973, serving for 4 years. He worked various jobs. He worked as Manager at the Marion Hotel in Ogden Utah until retiring in 2016 due to C.O. P. D. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He is survived by his wife Susannah, and his children Delanie F. Daughery, Jack D. Knowlden, K.C. May (Travis Naylor), Brandon K. Knowlden, Sariah Kenley, Jessie Knowlden, and Annika (Grant) Holbrook all of Ogden, Utah and James Earl Knowlden and Christina Knowlden of Kennewick, Washington as well as his two step daughters, Melissa Duce and Christine Olsen both of Nibley, Utah. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Also survived by his Mother Lucille L. Knowlden of Riverdale Utah and his siblings Jeanette Arbogast in Clinton, Kathleen (Ronald) Smith in Hooper, Dan E. (Pat) Knowlden in Springfield Utah, Diane Knowlden in Washington Terrace, Emma Jane (Scott) Berry in Ogden, Faith K. (Holly) Ball in No. Ogden, Rebecca Ann (Essy) Rahimzadegan in No. Ogden, and Christopher (Heather) Knowlden in Harrisville Utah. He was preceded in death by his father Jack D. Knowlden, brother Dennis Raymond Knowlden.
